v.9 – “The Lord is not slack concerning His promise, as some men count slackness, but is LONG SUFFERING toward us, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.

v.10 – But the DAY OF THE LORD will come as a thief in the night, in that which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burnt up”.

3). Ko e Kātaki Fuoloa ‘a e ‘Otua′ ko e Fakamo’ui. God’s Long Suffering is Salvation – (v.15) – “Pea mou lau ‘a e kātaki fuoloa ‘a hotau ‘Eiki′ ko e koto fakamo’ui” – “And account that the long suffering of OUR LORD is SALVATION”.

Kaungā fononga, hangē ko ia kuo fakalotolahi’i ‘aki kitaua ‘e he Folofola ‘o e ‘aho ko eni′. Ta hanga mu’a ‘o lau ko hota faingamālie lahi ē ‘a e kei tuku taimi ‘a e ‘Otua′ ma’ataua′, ‘a ‘Ene toloi taimi′, ‘a ‘Ene angamokomoko′, ‘o faifaimālie – ka ta ma’u taimi ke ta mateuteu kakato ai. Ke tau teuteu ‘a e hā’ele’anga ‘o Sihova′. Fakatonutonu Hono ngaahi hala′- ko hota loto′. ‘Ilonga ha tele’a he’eta mo’ui′, pea tanu. Pea ‘ilonga ha mo’unga pe tafungofunga ‘i hota loto′, pea holoki. 4). Kuo ‘osi pau ‘a ‘Ene Fakamaau′ – His Judgement is sure (v.10). Ka ‘e hoko mai pē ‘a e ‘aho ‘o e ‘Eiki′ ‘o hangē ha KAIHA’A′, ‘a ia ‘e mole ai ‘a e ngaahi langi′, mo e longoa’a, pea ‘e vela ‘a e ngaahi fetu’u′ ‘o movetevete, pea ko e fonua′ mo e ngaahi ngāue ‘oku ‘i ai′ ‘e vela ‘o ‘osi ai.

Si’i kaungā fononga, kuo taki mai kitaua ‘e he Laumālie′ ke ta ha’u ‘o ngūsia ‘i he aofangatuku ‘a e ‘Otua′ ‘i He’ene Folofola′ – ‘a ‘Ene tala fakapatonu mai kia kitaua – ko ‘Ene Fakamaau′ kuo pau! Ke fakahoko ia ki he māmani ko ‘eni′. Pea ko e hoko ‘a e ‘Aho ko ia′, ‘oku ui pē ko e ‘Aho ‘o e ‘Eiki′, ko ‘Ene ha’u′, ‘e hangē ha kaiha’a′. Tau ‘ilo kotoa pē ko e ha’u ‘a e kaiha’a′ ke hae hoto fale′, pe kaiha’asi ha’ate koloa′, ‘oku ‘ikai to e fanongonongo mai ia ke te ‘ilo. ‘Oku ne ha’u fakafokifā pē. Ko e taipe ia ‘o e ha’u ‘a e ‘Eiki′ ‘i Hono ‘aho′, ‘Ene ha’u fakafokifā ke to’o ‘Ene koloa′, ‘Ene kakai′.

Talamai ‘ia Matiu 24:40 &41 – v.40 – ‘I he taimi ko ia′, ‘e tokaange ha ongo me’a tena ‘i he ngoue′, ‘e ‘ave ‘a e taha kae tuku ‘a e taha. (v.41) – ‘Ene tokaange ha ongo fafine, ‘oku fai ‘ena momosi koane, ‘e ‘ave ‘a e taha kae tuku ‘a e taha”. Kaungā fononga, ‘oku ou tui ta’etoeveiveiua, kuo tu’u ‘a Sisu he Matapā′, kuo vave ke Ne ha’u, talamai ‘e Loma 2:4-7 – “Ke ‘oua na’a ta ta’etoka’i ‘a e KOLOA na (koe hā ‘a e Koloa′?) – Ko ‘ENE ANGA’OFA′, kae’uma’ā ‘Ene fakatofutofu′ mo angamokomoko′, ‘o ‘ikai te ke ‘ilo ko e ANGA’OFA ‘a e ‘Otua′ ‘oku Ne fai ho taki′ ki he FAKATOMALA′.

(v.5) – ka ke fai’aki ho LOTO FEFEKA′ mo TA’EFAKATOMALA na ‘o ke fokotu’u houhau ma’au, ‘o ka hoko mai ‘a e ‘aho fai houhau′ mo fakae’a ‘a e Fakamaau ‘au’autotonu ‘a e ‘Otua′ – ‘a ‘Ene ‘Afio′ te Ne ‘oatu ki he tangata takitaha ‘o fakatatau ki he’ene ngāue” (v.6).

Talamai ‘e he ngaahi veesi Folofola ‘i ‘olunga′ – ke ‘oua na’a ta ta’etoka’i (despise) ‘a e KOLOA, ‘a ē ‘oku fa’oaki ‘i he ‘Eiki ko Sisu Kalaisi′ – ‘a ‘Ene anga’ofa′, ‘a ‘Ene fai fakatotoka mo angamokomoko ma’ataua′ – ko ‘Ene ‘omi kotoa pē ke ne taki kitaua ke ta FAKATOMALA.

Kuo fe’unga ‘a e loto fefeka′ mo e faka-kiakekeva′. Tukuā he ‘oku ‘ikai hano ‘aonga ‘ona ia ki he fononga ‘oku tau fai mei Taimi ki ‘Itāniti′. ‘E hoko mai ‘a e ‘Aho ‘o e Fakamaau ‘a e ‘Otua′ – pea te ke iku ki he mate mo e ‘auha. Talamai ko e fai Fakamaau ‘a e ‘Eiki ko Sisu Kalaisi′ – ko e TU’I FAKAMAAU ‘o māmani′ – ‘e ‘au’autotonu. Ko e ki’i fo’i lea ko ia ko e ‘AU’AUTOTONU – ko e fo’i lea ko e ‘AU’AU ‘a ia ‘oku ‘uhinga ia ki he’ete strip off something like dry leaves mei he tō′ (sugar-cane), lo’akau′ (pandanus plants) pe ko e siaine′ (bananas). Ko hono ‘au’au ke ‘osi, ‘ikai toe ha me’a hono hakule ke ‘osi, to’o e ‘uli′ mo e kinoha’a′ mo e palakū′ ‘o fakamavahe’i ia mei he ma’a′, mo’oni′ mo e totonu′ – ko e me’a ia ‘a e ‘Otua.′ Pea mo’oni ‘a e lea ‘a e Saame 19′ – Ko e Ngeia ‘o Sihova′ ‘oku ma’a, ‘oku tu’uma’u ‘o ta’engata. Ko e ngaahi fakamaau ‘a Sihova′, ko e FO’I MO’ONI KO E KOTO TOTONU ‘ATA’ATĀ.

Si’i kaungā fononga Pilikimi, ko e fononga ‘oku ta fai he ngaahi ‘aho ko eni′, ‘oku ta fononga ‘i he TUI′ (Faith). Ko e fononga ‘oku lōlōa – ka ‘oku lea mai ‘a e Punake′ ke fakalotolahi’i kitaua – “Ko e Tui′ te ta lava ai – ‘a e Tui mo e Fa’a Kātaki′ (Faith and Long Suffering) ko e Mahafu′ ia. ‘E!
