Na’e ‘ikai keu hoko mai au ki māmani′ ko e Misaia′ au ke hangē ko Sisu′, pe ko ha Palōfita au ki he ngaahi pule’anga′ (nations) ke hangē ko Selemaia′, ka ‘oku kei lea pē ‘a e ‘Eiki′ kiate au ‘i He’ene Folofola′ koe’uhí ke Ne fakalotolahi’i au ‘i He’ene ui ki he’eku mo’ui′ ‘o fakatatau ki He’ene taumu’a′ (His particular calling or purpose) ki he’eku mo’ui′. Pea ko e me’a tatau pē ia kiate koe si’i kaungā fononga Pilikimi ‘oku ke me’a mai ki he ki’i vahevahe ‘o e ‘aho ko ‘eni′. ‘Oku ou tui pē ‘e fakalotolahi atu ‘a e Folofola ko ‘eni′ kiate koe ‘o fakatatau ki he ui pe ko e taumu’a (particular calling or purpose) ‘a e ‘Otua′ ki ho’o mo’ui′ na’e tu’unga ai ho’o hoko mai ki he māmani′.

Na’e ‘ikai ke tui ‘a e kau Falesi′ ki he fakamo’oni (testimony) ‘a Sisu ‘o fekau’aki mo IA′. Na’e ‘ikai kenau tui na’e ha’u ‘a Sisu mei he Tamai′, pea na’e ‘ikai foki kenau tui ko e ‘Alo ia ‘o e ‘Otua′. Na’e faingata’a kenau tui ki he ngaahi ngāue ‘a Sisu′ mo ‘ene ngaahi ngāue mana′ koe’uhí he na’e ‘ikai kenau ‘ilo’i ko hai ‘a Sisu pea nau mātu’aki ta’etui ‘aupito ki He’ene fakamo’oni (His own personal testimony) fekau’aki mo IA′. Na’a nau pehē ‘oku Ne blaspheming He’ene fakamo’oni pau ta’etoeveiveiua ko e ‘Alo ia ‘o e ‘Otua′. Ka na’e ‘ikai ke hoko ‘a e ta’etui ‘a e kau Falesi′ mo e kau Sikalaipe′, ‘a e kau taki lotu (religious leaders) ‘o e ‘aho ko ia′ ‘o fekau’aki mo Sisu′ ke toe fakaveiveiua ai ‘a Sisu ia fekau’aki mo IA – Ko Hai IA, Ko ‘Ene ha’u′ me fē, pea ko ‘Ene ‘alu′ ki fē! Who He is, where He came from and where He is going!

Na’e ‘ikai ke hoko ‘enau ta’etui fekau’aki mo Sisu′ ke toe liliu ai ‘a e mo’oni ia fekau’aki mo Sisu′ – ko e ‘Alo ia ‘o e ‘Otua′. Na’e kei tu’uma’u pē ‘a Sisu ‘i He’ene fakamo’oni′ (testimony) koe’uhí he na’a Ne ‘ilo ko Hai IA (Who He Is). Na’a Ne ‘ilo na’a Ne ha’u mei he Tamai′ pea te Ne toe foki pē ki he Tamai′. Na’a Ne ‘ilo ko IA mo e Tamai′ ‘oku Na taha pē. Ka na’e ‘ikai ke ‘ilo ia ‘e he kau taki lotu (religious leaders) ko ‘eni′ ‘a e mo’oni′. Ko ‘enau ta’etui′ na’e makatu’unga he’enau ta’e’ilo′ (ignorance), ka na’e ‘ikai hoko ‘enau ta’e’ilo′ mo ‘enau ta’etui′ ke ne liua ‘e ia ‘a e mo’oni fekau’aki mo Sisu′. Na’a nau ‘ita he’enau sio ki he fu’u confidence na’e ma’u ‘e Sisu fekau’aki mo IA′. Pea na’e ‘ikai ke tokanga ‘a Sisu ia pe koe hā ‘enau lau kehekehe fekau’aki mo IA′, koe’uhí he na’a Ne malu (secure) ‘i Hono identity. Na’e ‘ikai ke identify ia mo e ngaahi lau hala mo e sio hala mo loi fekau’aki mo IA′, ka na’a Ne identify pē ia mo ‘Ene Tamai′. Ko e lau pē ‘Ene Tamai′ fekau’aki mo IA′ na’e tokanga ki ai ‘a Sisu′, pea ko e lau pē ‘Ene Tamai′ na’e identify IA mo ia′.

Na’e ui pē ‘e he ‘Otua′ ‘a Selemaia mei manava, te’eki ke fānau’i ia ‘e he’ene fā’ee′, na’e ‘osi ui ia ‘e he ‘Otua′, pea Ne fakamavahe’i ia (set him apart) pe na’a Ne fili pe fakanofo ia (consecrated him) ke hoko ko ‘Ene Palōfita ki he ngaahi pule’anga′ (to the nations). Talaange ‘e he ‘Otua′ kia Selemaia, te’eki ke fānau’i ia ‘e he’ene fā’ee′ kuo Ne ‘osi fili’i (hand-picked) ia ke hoko ko ‘Ene Palōfita. Ko e fili ‘a e ‘Otua′, na’e fai ia KIMU’A. Na’e ‘ikai toki fai ia KIMUI hili ha feinga ‘a Selamaia ke ne fakahaā’i (prove) hono mahu’inga′ (his worth), pe ‘e toki fili ia hili ha’ane ako ke lava ‘o fai ha malanga ki he kakai′, pe ‘e toki fili ‘e he ‘Otua′ ‘a Selemaia hili ha toki sio ‘a e ‘Otua′ kuo pau (proficient) mo’oni ‘a Selemaia he tu’unga fakapalōfita′. Talamai ‘e he Folofola ia ‘o e ‘aho ni′, TE’EKI ke fānau’i ‘a Selemaia ‘e he’ene fā’ee′ kuo ‘OSI FILI (HAND-PICKED) pē ia ‘e he ‘Otua′ ki he fo’i ngāue ko ia′. Ko ‘ene life purpose ia na’e tu’unga ai hono ‘omai ‘e he ‘Otua′ ki māmani′ ke ne hoko ko e Palōfita ‘a e ‘Otua′ ki he ngaahi pule’anga′. Tatau ai pē pe ‘oku tali ‘e he kakai′ pe ‘oku nau ta’etali, ka ‘oku ‘ikai liliu ai ‘a e mo’oni′ ia – na’e fili’i (hand-picked) ‘e he ‘Otua′ ‘a Selemaia koe’uhí pē ko e fo’i ui pe taumu’a ko ia′. Whether people accept him or reject him does not matter because it does not change the truth – that God had hand-picked Jeremiah for that particular calling or purpose.

Na’e ‘osi ‘afio’i pē ‘e he ‘Otua′ ia ‘a e mo’oni mo e katokatoa ‘a e mo’ui ‘a Selemaia′, kātoa hono ngaahi mālohinga′ mo hono ngaahi vaivai’anga′; God knew every intricate detail about his life, God knew him intimately ‘a e ki’i mingimingi’i me’a kotoa pē fekau’aki mo ‘ene mo’ui′ ‘o lakaange ia he ‘ilo’i ‘e Selemaia ‘a Selemaia′, ka neongo kotoa ia na’e kei fili pē ‘e he ‘Otua′ ia ‘a Selemaia ki he taumu’a ko ia′ (and yet God still chose him for that purpose). Neongo na’e fehangahangai ‘a Selemaia mo e faingata’a kehekehe mo hono ta’etali (reject) ia ‘e he kakai na’a ne ngāue ki ai′ (minister to), ka na’e ‘ikai ke ta’etali pe fakafisinga’i (reject) ia ‘e he ‘Otua na’a Ne ui mo fili ia ki he tu’unga ke ne hoko ko e Palōfita ki he ngaahi pule’anga′. Na’e kei tuiaki pē ‘a Selemaia ‘i hono ui′ koe’uhí ko ‘ene ‘ilo ko e ui ia ‘a e ‘Otua′ ki he’ene mo’ui′ pea ko ‘ene ngāue′ ‘oku fai ia ki he ‘Otua′ ‘o ‘ikai fai ki he kakai ‘oku nau ta’etali ia mo fakafisinga’i ia mo hono ui′ (and not to the people who rejected him and his calling). Pea ko e ‘Otua koē na’a Ne ui mo fili ‘a Selemaia ki he ngāue ko ia′, ko e ‘Otua ia na’a Ne ngāue ‘ia Selemaia mo Ne fakamalava ‘a Selemaia ke ne fakakakato hono ui′ mo ‘ene taumu’a′ (his life purpose).

Pea ko e lea fakalotolahi ia ‘a e ‘Otua′ mei He’ene Folofola′ kiate koe pehē foki kiate au ‘i he pongipongi ko ‘eni′. ‘Oku ou tui ‘oku kehekehe pē ‘a e ui ‘a e ‘Otua′ ki ho’o mo’ui′ mei he’eku mo’ui′, ka koe hā pē ‘Ene ui ki ho’o mo’ui′ pea mo ‘eku mo’ui′, ‘oku mahu’inga ke ta fakatokanga’i ko e ‘Otua′ na’a Ne hanga ‘o fili koe pea mo au ki he taumu’a (purpose) ko ia′ ‘o ‘ikai ko ha fili ‘e ha tangata ke makatu’unga ai ‘a e tu’u ‘eta identity ‘i ha tangata pe ko ha toe me’a faka-ē-māmani (earthly), pe ko ha koloa, pa’anga, tu’unga fakaako, tu’unga he sōsaieti′ (social status), talēniti etc. Na’e ‘ikai ke fili kui kitaua ‘e he ‘Otua′ (tapu mo IA) ka na’e fakataumu’a (intentional) ‘Ene fili′ he na’a Ne ‘osi ‘afio’i te ke lava pea te u lava ‘o fakakakato ‘a e ui ko ia′ (fulfil that calling). Na’a Ne ‘osi ‘afio’i ‘a e mingimingi’i me’a kotoa pē, lelei mo e kovi fekau’aki mo koe, fekau’aki mo au, ka na’a Ne kei fili pē koe pea Ne kei fili pē au. He has already given us the part. We do not need any approval from man. All we need is to fulfil our destiny with the help of our God who has called us.

Neongo ‘a e fonu ‘a e māmani ko ‘eni′ he ngaahi negative kehekehe. ‘E ta’etali mo fakafisinga’i ‘e he kakai′ ‘a koe mo ho ui′. People will reject you and your calling. Te ke fehangahangai mo e ngaahi fakatanga kehekehe. Tokolahi ‘a e kakai he’ikai kenau tui ‘oku ke malava ‘o fakakakato ‘a e ui ko ia′, pea ‘ikai kenau tui na’e ui koe ‘e he ‘Otua′ ki he taumu’a ko ia′. People will not believe in you, people will not believe you are called for that purpose. ‘Oku ‘ikai ko ha me’a ia ketau ofo ai he na’e fai pehē pē ‘a e kakai′ ia kia Sisu hono taimi′, pea kapau na’e fai pehē ‘a e kakai′ kia Sisu pea fēfē ai koe pea mo au ‘i hotau kuonga′. ‘E siofi ‘e he kakai′ hota ngaahi vaivai’anga′ ‘o ‘ikai ko hota ngaahi mālohinga′, he’ikai toe ha ngaahi lau hala mo e talanoa loi kehekehe ‘e fai kiate koe pea ‘e fai kiate au, it does not matter what people do to us when we know that God has hand-picked us for that purpose. God had chosen us for His particular purpose! Ko e me’a pē ‘e taha ‘oku faka’amu ki ai ‘a e ‘Eiki′ ke ta ‘ilo’i′, na’a Ne ‘omai kitaua ki he māmani ko ‘eni′ ke ta ha’u ‘o fakakakato ‘Ene taumu’a ki he’eta mo’ui′, ko ‘Ene ui ia ki ho’o mo’ui′ pea ko ‘Ene ui ia ki he’eku mo’ui′. He’ikai to e fakakakato ‘e ha taha kehe ia ‘a e taumu’a ‘a e ‘Otua′ ki ho’o mo’ui′ ko koe pē te ke fakakakato′. Tatau ai pē pe koe hā ‘Ene ui ki ho’o mo’ui′ mo ‘eku mo’ui′. Ka kuopau keta fili (choose) keta IDENTIFY mo Kalaisi ‘o ‘ikai ko e kakai′. We must choose to IDENITY with Christ and not people. ‘Oua na’a ke identify mo e me’a’oku lau ‘e he kakai′ fekau’aki mo koe′. Ka ke identify pē koe mo e me’a ‘oku lau ‘e he ‘Otua′ fekau’aki mo koe′. He ko e me’a pē ia ‘e taha ‘oku lau′! Don’t identify yourself with what people say about you. Only identify with what God says about you because that is the only thing that counts! ‘ILO’I KO HAI KOE ‘IA KALAISI – Ko e Kī ia ke ke lava ‘o Fakakakato ho Taumu’a′! KNOW WHO YOU ARE IN CHRIST – the Key to fulfil your destiny!

(‘E tokoni kiate koe ke ke to e lau ‘a ‘Efeso 1:4; ‘Efeso 2:10; 1 Pita 2:9; ‘Efeso 1:11; ‘Efeso 8:29-30; Sione 15:16).

‘Ofa atu ki he Tonga kotoa ‘oku ke me’a mai.
